Ordinary Time

How do I grow in faith? With the momentum of Lent, Easter and Pentecost over, I find myself stuck in the vast green desert of Ordinary Time, with no marker on the horizon of which way to go. Perhaps I am meant to wait, to be still, to receive--but that is not my nature.

To guide me in this time, I take inspiration from my old college motto that knowledge is the support of faith. Perhaps my way to be still is to study. I have the germ of an idea to study some part of Scripture--to focus and immerse myself--and grow in faith and knowledge through reading, reflection and exchange. Now to decide which path to take...
